I had a lovely surprise this morning.
Just over a week ago, I found out that I had been nominated as one of the Top 40 Innovation Bloggers of 2014 by Innovation Excellence. I managed to make the list in 2013 (my first year) in the position of 38 out of 40, so was hoping to be able to repeat that feat this year.
Well, the results have just been published, and I was happy to see that I made the list again this year.
This is seen by many as the Oscars of the online Innovation community.
But what came as a surprise was the fact that I was selected as #7 overall this year, which is an amazing feeling considering the calibre of the other Innovation experts who were included.
And this comes hot on the heels of finding out I was also the #8 most influential innovation blogger of 2014.
It makes me immensely proud, and reminds me that through all the stress it’s taken to build up the Improvides blog this past year, it’s been worth it. It shows that people really do respond to original, high quality and intelligent insight.
Thank you to everyone who voted for me.
I look forward to providing even more insightful articles in 2015.
